The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for Availability, Assortment and Merchandising of company products to assigned Supermarkets, Groceries & Markets.
The Key Accounts Manager oversees the business & operations of these Accounts together with the assigned Merchandising Team, ensuring that all marketing and merchandising programs are implemented based on set standards and guidelines.
The Key Accounts Manager works in partnership with the account owners & their key personnel in servicing their needs & opportunities to grow both our business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. SALES AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
a. Develops and manages the company’s agreed business plans for each Account in his area of coverage.
b. Conceptualizes and recommends programs to drive revenues and profits.
c. Develops and nurtures strong account relationship in order to sustain a consistent and healthy business relationships.
d. Know the policies, procedures and peculiarity of the accounts under his responsibility.
e. Ensures the implementation & attainment in all Accounts of the following standards:
· Speed of pipelining of new products
· Product assortment & availability
· Right product positioning & display
· SRP compliance
· Relevant Business Information, Account Database & Feedback Report on Customer Profile & Competitor Activities
· Prompt & Complete Delivery Service
· Credit and Collection System
· Effective Promo implementation
e. Maintains professional and harmonious relationship with the customers through a service-oriented and business-like approach.
2. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
a. Develops workable programs, objectives and action steps for mid-term and short-term business directions of his accounts.
b. Conduct Business Reviews and prepare business plans with the accounts.
c. Identifies opportunities based on the KRA variances and give recommendations on how to address the said variances.
d. Provides thorough assessment on the effect or results of the business plans and/or programs implemented in the Account/s.
3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
a. In-charge of developing & implementing merchandising programs that will improve refilling and increase visibility on his accounts covered.
b. Provides guidelines and support to merchandisers in implementing standard operational processes and programs in their assigned Accounts to ensure the Company’s business Objectives are achieved.
d. Monitors merchandisers’ performances and mentors them, if & when necessary, to enhance their knowledge and skills and achieve soonest, their optimum potential, to benefit the Accounts and achieve the Company’s business objectives.
d. In-charge of conducting annual performance feedback among merchandisers. Regular feedback will be provided to the merchandisers.
e. Reviews, validates, and endorses efficiency programs recommended by merchandisers on their accounts handled.
f. Recommends/ facilitates training and development programs for the merchandisers to help achieve the Account’s, the Company’s & the Principal’s business objectives and directions.
h. Coordinates with Distributor’s Human Resource personnel/ Agency Supervisor &/or Coordinator in the recruitment, training and performance monitoring of qualified merchandisers prior to deployment in the Accounts.
4. MERCHANDISING AND DISPLAY
a. Implements proper Bad Order (B.O.) Management through
b. Heightens awareness and accountability among merchandisers.
c. Ensures timely retrieval of B.O. stocks in his accounts.
d. Ensures proper implementation of merchandising standards, installation of POP materials and product storage management guidelines, appropriate to each account.

Salary: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
